KKSB NanoPi NEO Plus2 Case (Aluminium)
The Nano Pi Neo Plus2 case is an effective solution to protect your board, whilst being presentable and attractive.
The Nano Pi Neo Plus2 is a fast single-board computer with Allwinner's 64-bit quad-core A53 SoC, with hex-core Mali450 GPU and features 1GB of DDR3 RAM and 8GB eMMC. The board runs (typically) an Ubuntu Core that typically requires users to remotely connect to the device from another machine via the command line. The NanoPi Neo Plus2's low-profile and full-speed gigabit Ethernet perfectly suits small IoT appliances.
The material of this case is an aluminium alloy that is respectfully finished with a powder-coated black lid and white powder-coated base.
The case is adapted to the board's features and connections, with cut-outs applied to allow suitable connector access. Mounting holes are also included for easy mounting and rubber feet are included to use the case on most flat surfaces.
The board is supported by 4 integrated standoffs and mounted to the case with 4 screws. The sections of the case are easy to assemble through a snap feature that does not require any screws.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this case, as I had not had any luck sourcing one for this particular board for a long time. The price was reasonable, and it shipped quickly, considering it came across the Atlantic during the pandemic.
I held back one star for two minor reasons. First, the case fits snugly, but but does not permit me to use the CPU heatsink I had already applied, as it was a few mm too tall. The case does not come into direct contact with the CPU, so I worry there may be some cooling issues. So far, so good on that front. Second -- and this is minor -- there is no pre-made hole in the case for the wifi antenna, so I routed it through one of the openings at the top. It works fine, and my kids thinks it looks like it has a tail now, so maybe this is a bonus?
Overall I am very pleased. Thanks!
