With the KKSB K1 Mini ITX case design, we have focused on what is necessary for a reliable function, with lightweight and affordable choices, however never compromising on the KKSB high performance and quality, which has then further been packed into a stylish and minimalist design.
Many competitors have case aspects and shapes that are not really required to provide performance and modern aesthetics. We at KKSB work more with the function whilst retaining modern form, also using as few parts as possible. All parts of our proposed KKSB K1 Mini ITX case design are sufficiently elaborate and reflect high quality, with each part working together to form a strong and durable, yet lightweight case.

Size optimization & the Unique Concept of a Frame-less Design
Another key aspect for ourselves at KKSB is size optimization - a case must be compactly built. A computer case has an interior volume, but the exterior is similarly as important for the design itself. In many examples, a case with a small interior volume can have a much larger outer volume due to its construction, We want to integrate interior and exterior into a frameless design, to gain the most utilised inner space from the overall size of the case as possible.
The only thing that separates the inner and outer volumes with our designs is a sheet thickness of about 1 mm. The case is so compact, that it gains an internal volume of 7.1 litres within its uniquely low size.
Cooling - A Mini-ITX form factor challenge
For optimal computer function, planned effective cooling is needed, especially when using a Mini ITX form factor case. An SFF case has the further constant challenge of cooling down both the CPU and GPU.
In our case, we made it possible to install extra fans to the case, also with the capacity to select a 54mm fan to circulate and exhaust as much air as possible. In addition, there are plentiful ventilation holes to keep the airflow in balance. This means that no extra modules are needed for the cooling to operate effectively. Even though the compact design is of importance, space for adequate and powerful cooling must still be given priority.
Detailed Design & Capacity
The case is made exclusively of sandblasted, grey anodized aluminium and powder-coated steel. The screws that come with the screws are in a black or gold shade. A sleek and simple power button is featured on the front of the case that facilitates a satisfying click when operated.
On the inside, there is the possibility to insert the form factor components that allow a powerful machine to be made. For example, the case allows you to use both full-length graphics cards and short graphics cards, which comes directly after listening to user's wishes. A PCI-Express 3.0 x16 riser cable is featured with capacity for card lengths up to 300mm of dual-slot PCI (40mm width).
The effective frameless design means that even though the case can hold the mini-ITX board with powerful additions, it still only comes to a total size of 310 mm x 138 mm x 195 mm. (Excluding rubber feet and GPU bracket).
All parts of the case have been specifically considered and designed to provide the best functional, lightweight and effective case that is based on what people really want.
If our case was to be selected as a base for new computer SFF build, the person that receives the case would also receive the capacity to house powerful components, in a high-quality shell within a modern, premium and minimalist design.
