The Banana Pi M3 comes with some upgraded hardware features. The BPI-M3 contains an Octa-Core 1.8GHz A83T Allwinner Cortex-A7 along with 2GB LPDDR3. The board also has wireless connectivity modules including an onboard WiFi 802.11 b/g/n module and Bluetooth 4.0. As far as the graphics processing is concerned, the Banana Pi M3 contains Power VR SGX544MP1 GPU.
The board also has Gigabit 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet, SATA 2.0, HDMI, and a CSI camera interface. In addition to the MicroSD card slot, the Banana Pi M3 also has an onboard 8GB eMMC flash. The BPI-M3 is compatible with Raspbian, Debian, Android, Lubuntu, and Ubuntu Operating Systems.
