A Case That Sold The SBC

The Pi 4 was the first in the series I was not going to buy. I have multiples of all previous versions. I'm not at all happy with the dual micro HDMI connectors.
I doubt more than one person in a thousand actually uses the Pi 4 as a desktop replacement. Most that have tried it do it as an experiment.
Dual monitors are not needed by the overwhelming majority of users.
On the Pi 4 they were catering to the extreme minority of users and not the majority. It should have had a single full size HDMI port.
I was so disappointed in the changes made to this board I decided to skip it altogether in the hopes the Pi 5 gets it right.
I do appreciate the choice of 4GB RAM and feel this is the best thing it has going for it.
Then I saw this beautiful case and it convinced me to buy a Pi 4 to use the case. The Raspberry Pi series has got to be the absolute most competitive boards to market a case for.
The available case variants are almost limitless.
I look for certain things when buying a case for any SBC.
1. It must be capable of cooling the board without a fan.
2. I won't settle for anything less than a machined anodized aluminum case.
3. The case must not increase the footprint of the SBC any more than absolutely required.
4. The case must look very good to compliment the SBC for which it was intended.
This case exceeds all my expectations so I bought the KKSB case first and a 4GB model Pi 4 second.
Don't concern yourself if the case starts to feel rather warm with a load on the Pi 4. It's just a sign it's doing it's job of pulling the heat of the CPU and into the case.
The entire case works as a heat sink and it does it quite well.
I am so delighted to see a company that takes pride in the way their products perform and look.
I just ordered a couple of KKSB machined aluminum Khadas Vim 3 cases. I will be buying the Vim 3 pro boards shortly.
The Vim 3 is another SBC I have been holding back on. The reason for that is there was a lack of quality cases for it.
I couldn't see spending $140USD on an SBC with the only case option being a cheap looking plastic case.
KKSB has solved this problem.
KKSB team, If you read this PLEASE make a finely machined and anodized case for the new Odroid C4.
There is currently nothing out there but the cheap plastic case from the manufacturer.
I'll be waiting on buying an Odroid C4 for better cases to be available. KKSB, you can make that happen before anyone else does.
