The RPi IR-Cut Camera is compatible and designed for both day and night light conditions. The camera module is suitable with all Raspberry Pi boards and it broadcast night vision technology.
Raspberry Pi IR-Cut Camera module has an adjustable focus distance with 5MP OV5647 sensor. It is engraved with IR-Cut filter which is not fixed and can be removed to eradicate color alteration during day time while the night image is maintained by the infrared LED. By having IR-Cut filter the weird reddish effect sometimes showed in the picture captured during day time is reduced.
