ODROID-XU4 (With Active Cooling Fan)
ODROID-XU4 is the Heterogeneous Multi-Processing solution powered by big.Little (ARM) technology. ODROID-XU4 is compatible with Linux, Ubuntu (including 16.04), and Android (KitKat 4.4, Lollipop 5.0, Nougat 7.1). The data transfer speed of ODROID-XU4 boards is above average thanks to the Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, and eMMC 5.0 interfaces. It means that booting, networking, 3D Gaming, and Web Browsing are faster in the case of ODROID-XU4.

Description
You have a couple of options to boot the Operating System on ODROID-XU4. They are the eMMC Module and MicroSD Card. However, we recommend the eMMC because it works fast when booting Operating System, launching the apps, and accessing the Cloud.
As mentioned earlier, the only difference between XU4 and XU4Q is the cooling management system. ODROID-XU4 comes with a cooling fan to optimize the performance of the processing unit. This is an active cooling fan mounting on the board and it only rotates when the computing load reaches certain levels. As soon as the threshold temperature (minimum) is detected, the fan starts rotating.
