NanoPi M4V2 (4GB) is basically the upgrade on NanoPi M4 (2GB). The titles are suggestive of the fact that the major difference between these Mini PCs is the capacity of RAM. NanoPi M4V2 replaces the 2GB LPDDR3 with the 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. The rest of the features are the same on both NanoPi M4 versions except that NanoPiM4V2 has two new buttons – a Power Button and a Recovery Button. NanoPi M4V2 is an 85mmx56mm Microcontroller equipped with a variety of important hardware and interfaces. Considering the form factor, this Mini PC looks identical to Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. The similar form factor enables NanoPi M4V2 to support ports and interfaces on Raspberry Pi 3B+. As far as the processor is concerned, NanoPi M4V2 contains the Quad-Core Cortex-A53 along with the 64-bit Dual-Core Cortex-A72 (1.5HGz and 2.0GHz respectively). It contains the Rockchip RK3399 SoC. In addition, it has Mali-T864 GPU and 4GB Dual-Channel DDR4 RAM. You can boot the RAM by using a TF Card or the external eMMC module. NanoPi M4V2 (4GB) has a WiFi/BT combo module that supports 2.4G and 5G. It also has a Gbps Ethernet port, 4x USB3.0 Type-A interfaces, 1x HDMI 2.0 Type-A port, 3.5mm Audio Jack, Type-C Port, and 40-Pin GPIO (Raspberry Pi Compatible). Moreover, NanoPi M4V2 has 2x PCIe, 1x USB 2.0, 1x eMMC socket, 1x Dual MIPI-CSI camera interface, and an RTC port.

Yeah, why I bought the NanoPi M4V2? Well, in combination with the 4x SATA hat I build my own NAS with and only Open Source. I won`t buy a product out of the box.
