The ReSpeaker 4-Mic Array is the expansion board that is compatible with Raspberry Pi. This quad-microphone board has been designed to help you work on AI apps and voice-design applications. It is important to mention that the ReSpeaker 4-Mic Array for Raspberry Pi doesn’t have an audio output. With the help of the ReSpeaker Quad-Microphone Array, you can work to create voice apps with better quality. It helps you to expand the functionality of the voice apps making them compatible with Amazon Alexa Voice Service and Google Assistant. The board has AC108 with a reliable I2S/TDM output transition. In addition to the Voice Activity Detection feature, this 4-Mic array also enables the Raspberry Pi to detect the Direction of Arrival.
